Rev. Fr Wence Chigekwu Madu hails from Imo State Nigeria, he was ordained a catholic pries in 1987. Fr. Wence Madu started his academic backgroud in perstiguios university of Nigeria Nsukka where he obtain a Bacherlor Degree in Biochemistry and Masters Degree in Biochemistry. because of the love he has for education and catholic religion he obtained another Masters Degree in Soil Science TEXAS USA and Doctor of Philosopher (PhD) in Biochemistry from Abia State University Uturu. Fr Wence Madu became and academician starting from Federal University of Technology FUTO down to Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo in 2008. Fr. before he became the Ag. Rector in Septemeber 2011 following the Apointment letter signed by the Secretart to Imo State Government, he has worked for the progress of Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo in many ways. because of his outstanding contribution he was made a subtansive Rector by Gov. Rochas Okorocha, OON the Executive Governor of Imo State in 2012. Fr Madu is a member of International Society of Biochemist and CMF of Eastern Nigeria.
