Ego Ferguson, Jr. (born September 22, 1991) is an American football defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. He played college football at Louisiana State University
High school career
A native of Mims, Florida, Ferguson originally attended Saint John's Catholic Prep in Frederick, Maryland, before transferring to Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia, for his senior year of high school.[1][2] Regarded as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, Ferguson was ranked as the No. 6 strongside defensive end prospect in the class of 2010, behind Jackson Jeffcoat (No. 1) and William Gholston (No. 3).[3] After official visits to LSU, Notre Dame, California, Florida State, and Miami (FL), Ferguson committed to the Tigers.
College career
After two years as a back-up, Ferguson replaced Bennie Logan at right defensive tackle.
Ferguson announced on January 3, 2014 that he would forgo his senior season and enter the 2014 NFL Draft.[4]

Chicago Bears
On May 9, 2014, Ferguson was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the 51st overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft. He signed a 4-year contract on May 13, 2014.
