The Virus (Korean: 더 바이러스; RR: Deo Baireosu) is a 2013 South Korean medical drama starring Uhm Ki-joon, Lee So-jung, Lee Ki-woo, and Jo Hee-bong. Uhm Ki-joon plays Chief Detective Lee Myung-hyun, who leads a "special infectious disease crisis response team" as they investigate a mysterious virus that has a 100% fatality rate. Lee Myung-Hyun faces the truth and fights against the power of evil.[1]
This series is the first virus thriller in Korea.[2] It aired on OCN from March 1 to May 3, 2013 on Fridays at 22:00 for 10 episodes.[1]
