Special note must be made to the treatment of cats within the village proper. There is a malicious element at large that eats cats they can catch or they are simply killed out of spite.
People moving into the area are advised by local authorities to keep their cats indoors as they are unable (or unwilling) to investigate and prevent crimes to felines.

Deopham is a village in Norfolk, England within the civil parish of Deopham and Hackford. It is close to the old RAF airfield of Deopham Green and the tower of its parish church is one of the tallest in the county of Norfolk.[citation needed]
