Mike Enriquez (Miguel Castro Enriquez; born: September 29, 1951 in Sta. Ana, Manila) Host, Imbestigador Newscaster, 24 Oras Senior Vice-Presidenent for radio, GMA Network President, RGMA
Mike is a popular radio and television newscaster in the Philippines.
Education
Mike is an alumni of De La Salle University, where he finished his degree in AB Liberal Arts in Commerce in 1973 and now teaches in Broadcast Management. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of his Alma Mater - La Salle Greenhills and act as the Treasurer and Chairman of its Finance Committee
Career
He started his career in broadcasting as a staff announcer in 1969 in the Manila Broadcasting Company.
Then in late 1995, he joined GMA Network, which had only for stations then; today it has 31 stations.Today GMA has 31 stations in all major radio areas throughout the Philippines.
He had his television break as one of the news anchors of GMA Network's early evening newscast, Saksi; which he transfered to late-night broadcast GMA Network News and went back to Saksi in 1999, which was transfered to late-night newscast and now he is anchoring another evening newscast 24 Oras. He also hosts an investigative show Imbestigador and has a television program only aired on GMA Pinoy TV and never forget his radio career via Saksi sa Dobol B, which airs every Mondays thru Fridays 6- 9 in the morning in DZBB
Awards
Mike is a recipient of the 1999 Golden Dove Award for Best Male Newscaster and of the Ka Doroy Valencia Broadcaster of the Year Award given by the Kapisanan Ng Mga Bordkaster Ng Pilipinas (KBP). He also received the Star Award for Best Male Newscaster of 1999 from the Philippine Movie Press Club of the Philipines. His 1999 grand slam was completed when he won the award for Best Newscaster in the Asian Television Awards held in Singapore. He is the only Filipino to win that award so far.

Best Public Affairs Host for Radio – Golden Dove Awards (KBP) 4. Finalist (The only one from the Philippines) – Best News Presentor – Asian Television Awards on December 2000 in Singapore. He won the same award in 1999.
