Masio (Mas in Piedmontese) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 km southeast of Turin and about 20 km southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,488 and an area of 22.3 km².[3]
The municipality of Masio contains the frazione (subdivision) Abazia.
Masio borders the following municipalities: Cerro Tanaro, Cortiglione, Felizzano, Incisa Scapaccino, Oviglio, Quattordio, and Rocchetta Tanaro.
