ReelzChannel is a digital cable television channel owned by Hubbard Broadcasting Corporation that airs programming about movies. It features news and information on films currently in theatres as well as information on films released on DVD and airing on cable television each week. In addition, VOD and Pay-TV highlights are featured in a segment that airs twice an hour called What to Watch. It is tailored to providers based on either the pay-per-view channel map or VOD remote instructions for each system.

Starting in 2009, a limited schedule of films, mostly on Friday evenings, has begun to air on the network. [1]

ReelzChannel launched on September 27, 2006 [2] and is independently owned and operated. It was initially available via DirecTV and Dish Network but has also signed carriage deals with various cable companies including Time Warner Cable, Comcast and Charter Communications.

ReelzChannel announced on January 7, 2009 that they would move their headquarters to Albuquerque, New Mexico in early 2009, where Hubbard's KOB-TV (Channel 4) is based.[3]

ReelzChannel HD

ReelzChannel HD, a high definition simulcast of ReelzChannel, will launch by the third quarter of 2010. All original programs will begin to be produced in true HD the first quarter of 2010. In the press release, Stan Hubbard, CEO of Hubbard Broadcasting said ""The television viewer expects HD, and we are committed to delivering it to them." He added, "The development of REELZCHANNEL in HD further demonstrates our commitment to entertaining consumers and movie fans everywhere." [4]
