Temple is an unincorporated community in Muhlenberg Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania at an elevation of 361 feet. The community was named for a hotel sign urging travelers to "Stop at Solomon's Temple." (Solomon was name of the innkeeper.) Temple was formerly an independent borough, until it was disincorporated on January 1, 1999.[1] The zip code is 19560.
