Attack Attack!

Attack Attack! is an American band from Columbus, Ohio. The group is currently signed to Rise Records. Attack Attack! has released one full-length album, Someday Came Suddenly.

History

Attack Attack! signed to Rise Records in 2008 and released their debut album, Someday Came Suddenly, on the label late that year.[1] Someday Came Suddenly peaked at #25 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and #193 on the Billboard 200,[2] with sales of more than 3,600 in its first week.[3] For Fearless Records' eighth Punk Goes... CD, Punk Goes Pop 2, Attack Attack! covered Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl". The band toured with Escape the Fate, William Control, and Burn Halo early in 2009,[4] and will be appearing on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour.

Musical Style

While they place emphasis on screams, they also employ some clean vocals that always make use of the auto-tune effect. One of their major distinguishing characteristics is the high musical contrast between hardcore and pop parts within their songs.

The band are commonly confused with the Welsh Alternative Rock band Attack! Attack!, which have two exclamation marks. Despite this common error, the bands both play completely different styles of music to one another.
