Duncan Galloway

I'm an astrophysicist and Centenary Fellow at the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. My research is primarily on X-ray studies of accreting binaries consisting of a neutron star orbiting a main-sequence donor star. I've recently moved back to Australia following a stint at the MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research (formerly the Center for Space Research) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I was working with the RXTE and Chandra HETG groups. PhD from the University of Tasmania in 2000. Before that an oceanographer at the Australian Institute of Marine Science in Townsville, QLD
