Goofy is a fictional character from Walt Disney's universe. He is supposedly a dingo who is Mickey Mouse's friend.
He first appeared as Dippy Dog but his name eventually changed to Goofy.
In the comics Goofy often assisted Mickey on his sluething [sleuthing?] expeditions.
Goofy also had a secret identity known as Super Goof.
On the TV show Goof Troop Goofy lives with his son Max and his cat Waffles and they live next door to Black Pete and his family.
Goofy also starred in A Goofy Movie and An Extremely Goofy movie.
Goofy reverted back to his retrospective personality on Mickey Mouse Works and appeared as a waiter on House of Mouse.
