|align="left" width="100%"|For a while now I've been quite inactive, the stress of multiple jobs, college, etc., was taking its toll and I guess the final nail in the coffin was my personal laptop blowing up. But I am back now with a new laptop and much more free time, although on my return I'm disappointed in some of the issues that seem to be occurring. I think perhaps people need to learn to chill a bit and remember we're all here for one purpose, writing an encyclopaedia. People can contribute to this in multiple ways, be it maintenance based like AFD, vandal fighting, content addition or a mixture of those. What doesn’t help us build an encyclopaedia is in-fighting, bickering over trivial issues or using wikipedia as an online battleground. This has the opposite effect, it simply pushes contributors out and encourages drama, which does nothing to aid our ultimate goal; it makes us [[MySpace]]. |
