The Eriocaulales are an order of monocots, including the tiny pipewort family, [[Eriocaulaceae]]. The family [[Xyridaceae]], which under Cronquist was placed in the [[Commelinales]], is sometimes included here as well, from which the whole order is sometimes called the Xyridales. Some authors have also placed the [[Restionaceae]] here as well.

The second was formerly classified in its own order, the Restionales, along with various forms that have since been moved to the [[Poales]].

The Eriocaulales are an order of monocots, including the tiny pipewort family, Eriocaulaceae. The family Xyridaceae, which under Cronquist was placed in the Commelinales, is sometimes included here as well, from which the whole order is sometimes called the Xyridales. Some authors have also placed the Restionaceae here as well.
