Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Heart 106.2, was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Mschel 15:38, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Level 2 Warning

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Boy Scout. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. DuncanHill 00:11, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scouting & Guiding membership

For information on the admissions policy of Scouting in the UK, please visit www.scouts.org.uk and for Guiding in the UK please visit www.girlguiding.org.uk . You will be able to verify for yourself their respective policies on membership for boys and girls. DuncanHill 00:15, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your edits on Scouting pages as you do not understand what is going on in the movement and what was done to get consensus here. If you have suggestions, discuss them on the talk page. If your suggestions are good ones, they will be accepted. If you continue to edit articles in the way you have been doing, you are likely to get blocked. --Bduke 00:26, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain this to me then - on the Boy Scout page it repeatedly links to the Girl Scout page but on the girl scout page there is no title link to the other? Why's that - explain... --88.108.95.228 00:37, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But there is a link to Boy Scout in the last line on Girl Guide and Girl Scout that you edited. Note I have left that, because I think it is partly reasonable. I agree that how we handle the articles about the boy or the girl is not as excellent as it might be. The fact that few Guide or Girl Scout Troops admit boys, while very many Scout Groups now admit girls is not easy to handle. My point was that you have messed up so many edits (such as arguing that the UK Scout Association is all boys when in fact all sections admit girls and young women), that you would be much better off and more constructive if you argued your case on the talk page. Also take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Scouting and in particular the table at the top of Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scouting. Why not create an account and joint that WikiProject. I'm sure you would develop into a constructive editor. --Bduke 01:01, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anon IP--Consensus building on articles should occur on that ARTICLE's talk page, not yours, as most people won't see it. Also, if you plan to be a regular contributor, you should get an account. I also agree with Bduke.Rlevse 11:33, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Revert war

ANON IP 88.108.95.228...four different editors have reverted you. If you can't work this out here on the talk page, you will get blocked for disruption and/or WP:3RR violation. I'm posting this on the article page, Girl Guide and Girl Scout's talk page and on your talk page.Sumoeagle179 20:44, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Sumoeagle179 20:47, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You were warned to use the talk page vice continuing a revert war. I'm filing a 3RR.Sumoeagle179 21:20, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
