La grotta di Trofonio is a comic opera in two acts composed by Antonio Salieri with an itallian libretto written by Giovanni Battista Casti . The work was first performed in Vienna, Austria at the Burgtheater on October 12, 1785. [1] The work has often been associated with Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte.[2]
