Dr. Jennifer Goldman-Wetzler is one of the globe's leading experts in organizational psychology and conflict. Applying the art and science of conflict management to C-suite dynamics, for three decades she has advised CEOs and C-suite leaders at top-tier companies and public institutions including Citibank, GE Capital, Novartis, AbbVie, Samsung, Intel, Old Navy, Whole Foods Market, The New School, and the United Nations[1]. Hailed as the world's #1 Conflict Coach by Marshall Goldsmith, she is the author of the best-selling book Optimal Outcomes: Free Yourself from Conflict at Work, at Home, and inLife[2]. Jennifer writes the Achieving Conflict Freedom column at Psychology Today[3], and her work has been featured in publications including The Financial Times, Fortune, Inc., Success Magazine, The Washington Times[4], The New York Post[5], Chief Learning Officer Magazine[6], MarketWatch[7], Fast Company[8], and Forbes[9].
Education
Dr. Goldman-Wetzler received her B.A. in Social Psychology Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University in 1996. She earned her M.A. and M.Phil. in 2006 and Ph.D. in 2008 in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University[10].
Jennifer’s doctoral research was fully funded by her Graduate Research Fellowship with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (2003-2008), for which she completed two internships at the Department of Homeland Security's Behavioral Sciences Division in Washington, D.C.
She was also a Fellow in 2005-2007 with START: The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, based at the University of Maryland, where she was a research fellow under Dr. Arie Kruglanski.
Career
Dr. Goldman-Wetzler advises CEOs and C-suite leaders at top-tier companies, specializing in finance (Citibank, GECapital, Moody's, DRW), healthcare (Novartis, AbbVie, Roche, Oscar Health Insurance), technology (Samsung,IBM, Intel, Collibra) and retail (Old Navy, Whole Foods Market, Knoll Specialty, David Yurman). She also advances senior teams at prominent public and academic institutions (Jazz at Lincoln Center, the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Oxfam America, The New School, and the United Nations)[11].
As a result of working with Jennifer, CEOs and their teams achieve greater organizational performance and deeper fulfillment in their lives. One CEO client masterfully navigated multiple acquisition offers, ultimately achieving a lifelong goal of selling his company to one of the world's largest corporations. By bolstering his own leadership and unifying his senior team, another CEO secured more than $800M in VC funding, orchestrated a successful IPO, and achieved a valuation of $3 billion[12].
Selected one of Marshall Goldsmith's 100 Coaches, Jennifer served as Global Head of the Coaching Practice at Mobius Executive Leadership, where she grew the practice 220% in three years, scaling leadership impact worldwide. She also coached global business leaders and diplomats at Columbia Business School[13] for over a decade.

Jennifer is the author of the best-selling book Optimal Outcomes: Free Yourself from Conflict at Work, at Home, and in Life[19] (HarperBusiness), recognized as a Financial Times Book of the Month[20], Porchlight Business Bestseller, Amazon #1 New Release, and one of Success Magazine's "6 Books to Help You Live Your Best Life" [21]. The book is available in nine editions and has been translated into five languages to benefit leaders globally. It is available in Chinese[22], Korean[23], Vietnamese[24], and Lithuanian[25], and English language editions are published in the US, UK, India, Australia and South Africa[26].
Personal Life
Dr. Goldman-Wetzler lives outside New York City with her husband, the social entrepreneur Jeff Wetzler[27], and their two children.
