Nava Haruvy

Hi, I created an article titled "Nava Haruvy" which you instantly deleted, writing: "12:05, 17 March 2024 Jimfbleak talk contribs deleted page Draft:Nava Haruvy (G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion: self written vanity page, see WP:COI, WP:RS, WP:Notability (people), supposed RS sources are her own publications) (thank)" Not sure if you noticed but the subject of this article is deceased. So this is not a self-written vanity article. The subject did not write this article, nor requested or paid for it. The subject is a notable pioneer in sustainable development and sustainable agricultural economics. That means, opened the field that allows the world to exist a little longer. Can you undelete this and let me know what citations you accept that are not "self-vanity". Of course I am citing her articles. I have done this for many articles in the past. What's going on? Please advise.

I made significant revisions to my original draft and I am surprised that it was still considered a direct lift from lenaallenshore.com. I am staffat a research library where we are creating an archive for Dr. Shore. I would be able to get copyright approval from lenaallenshore.com, if it comes to that, but I am not even able to review and revise my draft.

Fishing Points

Hello, Jim!

We've recently made a draft of the mobile app Fishing Points and you've deleted it, we weren't trying to advertise the app in any way, our main goal was to inform the fishing community of the option they have with the app, because it does make fishing a lot easier and especially more sustainable with the implemented official fishing regulations. We are trying to share our knowledge for the fishing welfare, and are not trying to sell the product. Could you please undelete our draft or give us some advice/directions on how we could improve it so it meets the required criteria? We are aware of the lack of references, but unfortunately, there's not much written about the app to source the material.

We are looking forward to your advice, thank you!

Inverse Planning

Hi Jim, thanks for your message. I'm not exactly sure what I need to revise for the current draft for Inverse Planning. I do work closely with this topic as a PhD student, but that's what makes me qualified to write a good article about this topic. As a scientist we are trained to make evidence-based claims. In fact, all the papers cited are from reputable, high quality journals and conference proceedings with hundreds of citations. I'm not paid by any individuals or companies to do this so I declare no conflict of interest. YLance, if your supervisor is one of the authors of the papers, you should mention that on the article talk page, it's important to be completely transparent about any link with the topic. I'll leave it to the AFC reviewer to accept the draft or otherwise, but looking again, I guess that the conference proceedings would count as a secondary source. A script is querying your ref 8, but it looks OK to me. I'll remove the secondary sources tag, you can remove the COI yourself when you've clarified your position Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:29, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

AusLondonder, I've seen articles like this speedied, but I guess that admin Bbb23 didn't think it was blatant advertising. Yeah I guess CSD is by its very nature quite arbitrary. Some admins are much less willing to delete spammy articles than others. Thanks for that though, was just wondering if my nom was unfounded. AusLondonder (talk) 16:51, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

Hey Jimfbleak. Can I get my draft back? I know it was previously create by the subject themselves and I have also warned them here once. I believe they will become notable once the film The Goat Life is released and I also feel it is better that the article is created by someone uninvolved. Jeraxmoira🐉 Ok, I see you have a track record, so I'll restore, but at Draft:Sunil K.S.. Unless I'm missing something, it can be KS or K.S. but not as it was. Your critical reception section is highly problematic. It's intended for works, not people, isn't a criterion for notability guidelines and looks really spammy, so I suggest that you dump that Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:49, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for the restore. I added the critical reception by seeing Greig Fraser. But yeah, most of the cinematographers do not have it nor the ones I have created previously. Mariella Herberstein

Hi Jim, I created the page "Mariella Herberstein" on 06:32, 25 March 2024. and it was deleted within seconds as (G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion: self written vanity page, see WP:COI, WP:RS, WP:Notability (people), supposed RS sources are almost entirely her own publications). Professor Mariella Herberstein is a notable academic on her field, and wikipedia had an initiated to diminish the gender gap on articles by creating more pages about women which is the motivation to write this article. This is not an article made for self promotion, but because it is an academic and to talk about the research she has done, I have employed papers that she wrote. This was not done on request by the person, and she is not even aware of the existence of it.
