Grayson Dettoni (born 29 June 2005) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Regionalliga Bayern club Bayern Munich II.
Early life
Dettoni started playing soccer at the age of four.[1] He moved from Virginia, United States, to California, United States at a young age.[2] He moved from the United States to Germany at the age of ten.
Club career
As a youth player, Dettoni joined the youth academy of German side 1860 Munich on 2015. After that, on 2017 he joined the youth academy of German Bundesliga side FC Bayern Munich.
International career
Dettoni has represented the United States internationally at youth level.
Style of play
Dettoni mainly operates as a defender. He is known for his strength. He has received comparisons to Germany international Niklas Sule.[3]
Personal life
Dettoni holds Italian passport, making him elegible to play for Italy as well as his native United States.[4]
