Booster Gold is an upcoming American superhero film based on the comic book character of the same name by DC Comics. Zack Stentz wrote the screenplay.

Production

In May 2016, it was reported that Zack Stentz would write a Booster Gold film with Greg Berlanti producing as well as possibly directing.[1] In September 2016, Berlanti stated the film did not have any "connective tissue" to the DC Extended Universe at that time, and the origins of the project emerged from the television project he and Andrew Kreisberg had in development for SyFy.[2] That project had been ordered by SyFy in November 2011,[3] with Kreisberg submitting a script in early June 2013.[4] Towards the end of the month, Stentz revealed he started work on the screenplay for the film.[5] By March 2018, the script had been completed, with Berlanti stating production would begin once Warner Bros. decided where to place it in its upcoming slate of films.[6] In May 2019, Stentz reaffirmed that the film was still waiting for the greenlight by Warner Bros.[7]
