Richard ‘Dick’ Brown Was a rugby league player in the Australian competition – the New South Wales Rugby League(NSWRL).

A hooker, Brown played in 84 matches for the Eastern Suburbs club in the years 1927-29 and 1931-33. In the 1931 season Brown was a member of the Eastern suburbs side that lost to the South Sydney club in that years premiership decider.
