Somerleyton Hall, 1880. The seat of the Crossley family.

Baron Somerleyton, of Somerleyton in the County of Suffolk, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1916 for the Liberal Unionist politician and former Paymaster-General Sir Savile Crossley, 2nd Baronet. As of 2012 the titles are held by his great-grandson, the fourth Baron, who succeeded his father in 2012. The third Baron notably served as Master of the Horse from 1991 to 1998 and was made a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order in 1998.[1] The Crossley Baronetcy, of Halifax in the County of York, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1863 for the first Baron's father, the carpet manufacturer, philanthropist and Liberal Member of Parliament, Francis Crossley.
