No disrespect to first poster (Isthatyou) but I know the main writer of this article personally - they wrote that in conjuction with 3 other people over a period of 4 years starting back in 2001 (if memory serves me right.). The core elements of the reference have not been altered to any major degree and the second writer has not updated it as they could not remember login details -(as with the first contributor). I'm currently using the second contributors new login. |

I know this to be true as they were students of Te Wananga O Raukawa (TWOR) and also members of the Ngati Ruanui tribe. The article came about as a study requirement however the details were excess to their respective papers |

Bollocks. I wrote the article myself in 2003. Since then many other people have contributed and added to the article, most notably Grimhim in 2008. Also I have never been a student at Te Wananga o Raukawa. |

I've changed "of Te Manu" to "o Te Manu" which is the correct spelling of the place. 87.74.29.231 22:00, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

This material is heavily plagiarised from NJ Taniwha's dissertation and summary notes - why hasnt her work been acknowledged? I am disgusted to think that others would allow her to remain obscure considering how much of her effort has been "plagiarised". The whole composition is filled with direct quotes from her. Very very dissapointed in acknowledgement annotation. |
