[[A. M. Nair|Nair-san]] lived from 1905 to 1990. His father was a [[Tamil Brahmin]] and mother was a [[Nair]]. He was born and did his schooling in [[Trivandrum]], [[Kerala]]. During school days Nair-san and his friends fought against the British rule in India. Mohanlal is said to have a shooting day total of 160 days. He needed to prepare his body for this role.<ref name=R8/> Jackie Chans team will also choreograph the fighting scenes JC Stunt Team venture.<ref name=R2/> Contrary to recent hyping media reports, Jackie Chan was cast early in pre-production.<ref name=R6/> Mohanlal confirms, that he learned Japanese and Mandarin, because he will dub himself in these languages, because of his easiness in acting.
