[edit]Aftershock 2023 took place during a week of high temperatures and hydration stations were provided to festival goers.[15][16] Pantera pulled out of the festival due to "circumstances beyond our control", being replaced by Stone Temple Pilots.[17] Prior to Aftershock, Corey Taylor injured his leg during a show in Los Angeles and also pulled out of the festival. Members of his touring group were also having difficulties with Covid-19.[18]
