On August 21, 1992, more than 200 civilians ([[Bosniaks]] and [[Croats]]) from [[Prijedor]] was displaced from the convoy of refugees who were sent to the exchange. [[Serbs|Serbian]] officials were brought in over the precipice at the Korićanske rocks. All these people were placed in two buses to join the column in [[Trnopolje | Trnopolje camp]]. Beside them, the truck "Autotransport Prijedor", who drove Serbian polismen that 30 civilians.

A long time after the massacre above the abyss circled the flocks of ravens – vultures.

On August 21, 1992, the rocks were the site of the Korićani Cliffs massacre of more than 200 civilians (Bosniaks and Croats) from Prijedor.[5]
