Montroc was a town in France, after a massive slab-avalanche came down the Alps into the town it was levelled to the ground. The new formation that took place was barren and took onboard the new name of "Jackvillé". Of course the confusion that then ensued, with immagrants from the heart of the Russian Federation travelling to France under the impression it was a long voyage home.

Rescue workers were provided with millions of franks and high tech equipment in an attepmt to salvage the town's buildings and rescue any survivors. About two weeks later the workers had liberated the town of Montrac from the icy clutches of the snow - The suns powerful rays were a natural aid and were much welcomed by the men and women. Then around two days after this, the Mayor of Chamonix planted high-power explosives around the remmenents of the town; he manage to kill 12 rescue workers with his efforts. When he was finally apprehened by the local police, he confessed that he was under the orders of Communists.


Several houses at Poses 150 m north-east of Montroc were destroyed on 9 February 1999 by a slab [[avalanche]] from Bec du Lachat and Mont Peclerey on the [[Mont Blanc]] massif, killing 12 people. In July, 2003, the mayor of [[Chamonix]], Michel Charlet, received a three-month suspended prison sentence for his part in the handling of events immediately prior to the avalanche. There is a memorial to those lost at site of the avalanche on the road from Montroc to Le Tour.

Montroc is a hamlet in eastern France, located in the territory of the commune of Chamonix.

Several houses at Poses 150 m north-east of Montroc were destroyed on 9 February 1999 by a slab avalanche from Bec du Lachat and Mont Peclerey on the Mont Blanc massif, killing 12 people. In July, 2003, the mayor of Chamonix, Michel Charlet, received a three-month suspended prison sentence for his part in the handling of events immediately prior to the avalanche.
