Osprem is often depicted as a beautiful woman in a flowing gown, or as a [[dolphin]], [[barracuda]], or [[sperm whale]]. In human form, she wears a ring carved from a whale's tooth, a gift from the grandfather of all whales.

Osprem is the occasional companion of [[Xerbo]].

According to ''Warriors of Heaven'', Osprem's realm on the [[Elemental Plane of Water]] is called ''Whirlcurrents''. However, ''Dragon'' #90 placed her realm in [[Mechanus|Nirvana]].
