It does not stand to reason that the protonated (positively charged species) would have a higher pKa and therefore be less acidic than the neutral compound. This is how it was written before. It has been updated to show the protonated species having a lower pKa, then the neutral compound having a higher pKa for the second deprotonation. undo Tag: Visual edit
