Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Magitroopa (talk) 16:08, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

Please note that unresponsive editing and ignoring community input can be pretty disruptive. You are expected to join the discussion or at very least listen to other users' complaints. Persistent disruptive editing can lead to a block from editing; perhaps simply without warning to prevent further disruption, since warnings do not appear to have an effect. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:45, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for unresponsively, disruptively, persistently ignoring community input after a block, multiple discussions, multiple warnings, a clear final warning and during an ANI discussion for the same reason.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:35, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

A detailed discussion and block reasoning can be found at Special:Diff/973872777/973877358. You had been invited to the discussion; you had been warned about the possible consequence of continuing to ignore the community's input; you continued to do exactly what you had been warned about. A conditional unblock may be an option in the future, but there are a few open questions if you request an unblock: Why did you do this, how has the situation changed, and why should we believe that it has? I'm not entirely sure what can be done here. Perhaps the standard offer can be a guidance, but this has been an issue for almost 10 years. The usual "six months" are just five percent of the duration of the behavior that led to the block. I'm not sure if this persistent attitude can genuinely change in such a relatively short amount of time. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:29, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

I would like to make a appeal to be reinstated. I understand that I don’t respond to requests from others but I get nervous when people offer criticism of my edits. Thanks.Robert Moore (talk) 07:00, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

‘’Apologize for excessive editing and not responding to action or explanation

Decline reason:

You do not respond to the questions above posed by ToBeFree. You need to be willing and able to communicate with other users and respect the input of the community when given. If you are unable to do these things, you can't be unblocked. If you can, you will need to explain what is different this time as opposed to past times you have been asked to do this. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 11:25, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Guess I’ll start moving articles that I can’t use on this site over to my Wikia sites.Robert Moore (talk) 06:33, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Robert Moore (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I read the statement as to why I was blocked in the first place. I understand how reckless my edits have been and not participating with the administration or users without giving a reason why I did it without any thought or permission. I want to have a full conversation with the community and respect their wishes, be mindful of my actions, and to be active on this community. I’m ready to communicate and stop ignoring, therefore I am willing to accept a unconditional unblock if accepted.

Decline reason:

I am not assured by the discussion below that the user clearly understands the issues and can edit productively based on feedback. The way that things need to be explained and re-explained concerns me. only (talk) 12:03, 28 August 2020 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You're still not answering the questions. Please be specific. How have your edits been reckless? Why haven't you given any reasons why?
  1. You were warned about using curly quotations and continued to use them? Why?
  2. You failed to respond to queries including when brought to WP:ANI. Why do you not communicate even when asked a direct question?
  3. If you intend to work with the community and begin communicating, how will you handle things differently than before?
Answers to these would be a good first step, but I'm not admin so I don't really have a say in the matter. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 18:02, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
I’m sorry. I had to recheck my editing history, so I didn’t see any deletes or any problems. I thought that was a reason for my blocking but I’m trying to figure out what I did wrong. However, I’m willing to answer your remarks.
  1. I wasn’t aware of the curly quotations until you bought it up. I didn’t know about that and should have paid attention to it.
  2. Second, I get nervous about responding to people in the community because of how they respond to me, especially when it comes making queries to the administrators, plus when I see several articles that I created being deleted I feel like I’m not wanted here and that hurts me, but I understand as why it had to happen.
  3. As for working with the community, I give you my promise that what I did in the past will never happen again and I am willing to take any advice or criticism. I am ready to be a better person and stop being rouge. Robert Moore (talk) 18:29, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
Apologies for butting in- but I'd just like to ask about #1 above: How was Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars's mention of MOS:CURLY the first you've heard about this? I specifically warned you above on this talk page multiple times. That was the main problem on All That (season 11), which I had to fix many of them. Apart from the CURLY problems, there were other issues ToBeFree mentioned that you continued to do, even with other users attempting to tell you not to do it on this talk page (Again, see here). Magitroopa (talk) 18:44, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
Now I understand what everyone was trying to tell me. For one, I haven’t paid attention to my talk page in a while until I receive the blockage. Plus I want to talk to ToBeFree and any person like you about not doing anything like this again, but since I’m still blocked and can’t make responses to your talk page or administrative this will probably be the only area I can post my response until then. Like I said earlier, I had no problems with the other Wikia sites I belong to so far.Robert Moore (talk) 19:46, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
(I'm regularly having a look at this page and can be directly notified of messages using the code {{ping|ToBeFree}} ~~~~. Per WP:ADMINACCT, "editors are free to question or to criticize administrator actions", and I am "expected to respond promptly and civilly to queries about [my] Wikipedia-related conduct and administrative actions". For chronological order and thread readability, I'm moving the "Decline" and the response to it below.) ~ ToBeFree (talk) 09:36, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
I don't like that you still asked for a unconditional unblock in your last unblock request, because that is not going to happen. I have some concern that you still don't understand what you did wrong. At the very least, you will need to stop the use of curly quotations in articles per MOS:CURLY (which is all you had to do in the first place to avoid all of this) and you MUST pay attention to your notifications. If you get a message from another editor on your talk page with a question or concern, you must stop all other editing and respond to it. You must have resolved any issue with the other editor before continuing to edit again. "I haven’t paid attention to my talk page" is not an acceptable excuse. Those are my suggestions. Others may have more to add. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 15:12, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
Ok, you have a point. I read the last messages and realized that I made a lot of mistakes but I’m open to criticism. I’ll stop and refrain from further edits altogether without getting permission, and I will accept any discipline handed down to me.Robert Moore (talk) 03:07, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

An IP (67.53.214.86) has been recently editing articles Robert Moore typically edits. If it's him, he's certainly screwing himself from ever getting unblocked. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 00:08, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

I’m not doing the edits. I just told my friends the reason why I was blocked so they’re just helping me out.Robert Moore (talk) 01:44, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
Well this is meatpuppetry and therefore the IP is now blocked. Anyone else editing on your behalf? only (talk) 01:49, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
no. I’ll let them know.Robert Moore (talk) 01:54, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
"They" already know because it's you. The style is the exact same between your edits and the IP's at 2020 in radio. You have been evading your block. Binksternet (talk) 02:16, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

I give up. I can’t come up with any reason why I should be unblocked. I don’t have a real answer and it is harder to come up with one. If that’s the case the only way I can think of is either sit out the indefinite block or be removed from Wikipedia altogether. But it was great while it lasted. Thank you.Robert Moore (talk) 02:03, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

A Message

For anyone who has been updating or editing my pages, I just want to say thanks. Hopefully one day I’ll come back. For now I found other places to occupy my time with, including starting up my personal wikis, so once again thanks.Robert Moore (talk) 00:56, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:Adult hits radio stations in the Philippines requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
