Only two sources, which do not appear to qualify as SIGCOV. There does not seem to be a justification based on notability as on why this episode should have a separate article (i.e. it could also be redirected to South Park (season 2). Stanley Joseph Wilkins (talk) 05:53, 26 July 2024 (UTC)

- Redirect to South Park season 2 - The A.V. Club is SIGCOV but it alone isn't enough. I found some list entries by MovieWeb ([1]) and Digital Spy ([2]) but I don't consider those SIGCOV. Fails WP:GNG. --Mika1h (talk) 09:27, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- Keep AV Club is sigcov, and I feel making the list at movieweb for underrated episodes (coming 20+ years after it originally aired) is cause enough for passing WP:GNG DonaldD23 talk to me 18:25, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. Two sources -- as they say, OH! That's A SIGCOV!! jp×g🗯️ 23:28, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
- Two sources does not make it enough a SIGCOV. SpacedFarmer (talk) 12:32, 1 August 2024 (UTC)

Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Liz Read! Talk! 05:34, 2 August 2024 (UTC)- Keep. Two sources can be sigcov, FWIW. The AV club piece is quite extensive and the other two sources are less so but are fine. PARAKANYAA (talk) 14:54, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Keep: I agree that the AV Club and Movieweb sources are acceptable for demonstrating notability. Toughpigs (talk) 17:41, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Keep, this is an important episode from the perspective of epidemiological education. BD2412 T 00:22, 5 August 2024 (UTC)
- @BD2412: I don't understand how an episode of a non-educational (yes, satirical, but it's not strictly trying to teach science) TV series would have epidemological value. I'm a South Park fan myself, but I don't see how this article can't be redirected to South Park (season 2) at least (usually 3 reliable sources are needed to demonstrate notability, and one of this article's two sources is just a brief mention, not really SIGCOV. - I've gussied it up a bit. I'm satisfied with what there is of it. A show need not be "educational" to educate. BD2412 T 04:11, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

- Keep By spot checking, it seems that (1) all Southpark episodes have stand-alone articles that (2) are decent enough to stay that way. It makes no sense to me to rip a hole into this, even if one episode here and there hypothetically falls short. This one article is fine. – sgeureka t•c 11:39, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
