Request reason:

I would like to be unblocked so I can resubmit a page for Scratch DJ Academy. I understand the page as is needs to be deleted, but I am a first time user and was hoping to not promote the company, but to be a part of the Wiki community by resubmission. I now better understand the rules/regulations and believe that I can create a non-bias informational page. I have outside references including articles from reputable publications such as the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Time Out NY, and many more. I am also more than happy to disclose my relationship to the company, and am unsure how my user name became "ScratchDJAcademy".

Decline reason:

Your username is what it is because you created it that way. You cannot be unblocked with this name, as it is a violation of our username policy, however if you'd like to change it, you can suggest a new one with {{unblock-un|new username}}. While you're at it, you can go ahead and post what you'd like to put up for your article below, under a level 1 header (with one equal sign on either side, like this: = Header = We can review your article and give you some tips on how to improve it before it goes "live". — Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:09, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Scratch DJ Academy

edit

A tag has been placed on Scratch DJ Academy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 19:29, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
