Orphaned non-free image (Image:42px-BMW Logo thumb.png)
editThanks for uploading Image:42px-BMW Logo thumb.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:16, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Re: your e-mail -- that image cannot be used on your userpage. Per WP:NONFREE non-free images can only be used in the mainspace. Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 07:36, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
OK, sorry I missed that point. Thanks for your explanation, Betacommand! Geoffreywatson 06:44, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry for the confusion. I normally like to leave people more in-depth feedback, but you caught us at the end of a drive to clear the backlog of submissions where we were being encouraged to concentrate on speed and quantity, over giving help and advice.
Thankfully that ended yesterday and we're back to normal service.
The reason I failed the article would better be described as insufficient references. You online cite one reference which is not easily verifiable. You also use no inline citations. As reviewers we have to ensure that all facts listed can be verified and also that the subject of the article is subject to "significant coverage", whether that be online, in newspapers, etc. -I couldn't do this with the information provided.
Inline citations should be added at the end of each sentence (or at the end of a paragraph) to basically prove the facts listed in that sentence. Please see WP:CITEFOOT for how to add these to your text.
As for quantity of references, a simple google search shows there is a "significant coverage" on this subject. I would recommend (if possible) you use the two external links you list as references to prove the information you are listing (pusing inline citations again).
The article seems to comply with all the other criteria it must meet, so if you could add these inline citations I would be happy to review it again for you, and save it lingering in the backlog for weeks on end.
Many Thanks
