The call letter explanation in the infobox states that the call is derived from WJZ in Baltimore. Was there a connection between the two stations that inspired WJZY's call, or were the anonymous editors that added that derivation just making things up? This needs a source, or out it goes. Fair use rationale for Image:Upn46logo.gif
editImage:Upn46logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

editOn July 1, 2013, I plan on deleting File:WJZY CW46.png. Is this overkill? Fairly OddParents Freak (Fairlyoddparents1234) T | C Member: WP:TVS 20:53, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
Sports programming
editI have changed to past tense the statement that the station occasionally carried ACC games that WBTV didn't carry. It was even more often the case that WBTV pre-empted CBS Sports for the ACC, and WJZY (as a UPN or CW affiliate) picked up the CBS game. But until proven otherwise, there's no evidence that Fox has continued that relationship with Raycom (WBTV's parent and the distributor of ACC sports) or the secondary affiliation with CBS. If those do turn out to be the case, the language can be changed back to present tense. 71.75.58.134 (talk) 05:48, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
Unlock page
editDo not lock pages out of bogus sockpuppetry. Those are NOT TheREALCableGuy's, and you know it, yet you won't listen. Now stop it! 46.246.28.97 (talk) 21:54, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, because an unsigned user needs to make this point over four random IPs grabbed over some kind of proxy. It's locked for good reason. Nate • (chatter) 01:26, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Broadcast resolution
editAppears to be in 1080p - not 720p as described in the article. --24.182.92.247 (talk) 05:12, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
- It is not; 1080p is impossible to carry over the air over the current television standard, and Fox is in a 720p format nationally. This is definitely a not-in-doubt issue. Nate • (chatter) 17:36, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
- Likely your TV is outputting a 1080p signal from your pay-TV source and that's why it shows up that way; the local box is upconverting a 720p signal to 1080p (that's what my TiVo does, for instance). Nate • (chatter) 19:17, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
