Cleanup
editI've started the cleanup with the "Medieval Bosnia" and "Visociča" sections, but the former will need to be fact-checked by someone familiar with the material, as I've had to make some "educated guesses" as to sense. — JEREMY 11:59, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm here for check ;) --HarisM 13:13, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
I'm editting the beginning to reflect the article being about the municipality of Visoko. Please make check that the fects are still correct after I've made these changes. Thanks :) Leah 23:21, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- Why? Article is about Visoko city, but it have information about other places that are in manucipality. Reason for mentioning is that places were historicaly connected with Visoko, look Medieval section. You do the work and we will see it, i will be there for checking the facts. To be honest i don't know precisly what are you going to do... didn't understood it well. Municipality is so small that it doesent need no article as all was mentioned in article about Visoko city which is centre of it. --HarisM 23:32, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- I read the article and understood that a Bosian municipality is different from where I come from. You commented before I could change this comment :P I changed it to region. Where I come from a municipality is considered to be a group of towns, each town ranging from the size of 15,000 - 30,000. Is region an appropriate word?
I also wanted to say that you have put an amazing amount of work into this article and I would love to help editting but please read what I have done to make sure I haven't made any huge mistakes. Thanks, Leah 00:33, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, i will help you anyway. Just to mention here, municipality covers villages and one town (that is Visoko). Other villages are about 500 to 5000 residents, no more. Visoko itself has only 17000 residents. You are welcome anyway, wikipedia is free encyklopedia, and Thank you! --HarisM 15:27, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmm, i think we have a problem with surface of town itself as i don't know it! I will try to find information on net or from somebody from town. Regardless, thanks for editing and correcting my VERY bad selftaught english. You didn't mess anything :)
- Hmmm, how come you (from Canada) find this article and offer yourself for editing? Just informational :) --HarisM 15:34, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Incredible !
editIn Visoko have discover huge piramids but not it is't made mention. This is could be a more important discover of the history of Europe from many time !
- it is mentioned: Visočica is a hill overlooking the town of Visoko. In October 2005, amateur archaeologist Semir Osmanagić claimed that this hill and several surrounding hills concealed pyramids [1] which, if confirmed, would be the oldest pyramids found in Europe. On April 19 2006, digging on one side of the hill revealed large stone blocks reported to show evidence of having been polished [2].
Neolithic money
editIn the prehistoric era section, HarisM wrote that money was found on neolithic settlements. Thats's quite surprising since there was not yet money at this period or perhaps to pay the pyramid builders ;)
Could you cite a reference on that point ? Duckysmokton 10:58, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Bosnian Pyramids POV
editThe Bosnian Pyramids section presents a pov that was rejected in both related Wiki articles. Given that there is no discussion here on why this pov was choosen, I'm editing the section to agree with the other articles (Bosnian pyramids and Semir Osmanagić). --Ronz 16:07, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
I've removed "amateur archaeologist" and speculation of the hills being the "oldest pyramids found in Europe." As in the other two articles, it's best not to repeat Osmanagić's claims of having some expertise in archaeology, given that his dealing with professional archaeologists have been controversial. As for the age of anything, Osmanagić is unable to decide, and continues to make contridictory claims (he doesnt know vs pre-Roman vs during the last Ice Age by the decendants of the inhabitants of Atlantis). Given that there are confirmed pyramids in Europe, if Osmanagić cannot date his findings (or even verify their existance), then any claims about his being the first or oldest are unsuitable for an encyclopedia without giving the actual facts as well. I think it will be best for the Visoko article that discussions of the controversies be avoided. --Ronz 16:41, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Then, I agree with you. --HarisM 00:37, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Wouldn't mention of the increase in tourism be appropriate? --Ronz 16:57, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know. It sound allright to me. --HarisM 18:39, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Source for what?
editThat they exist? That they play concerts in Sarajevo, Tuzla... and other big towns? Ronz, Ronz... i know that you have problems with "pyramids", but Visoko isn't pyramid or hoax. You are harrasing me... --HarisM 15:11, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- Please remove the claim of harassment.
- Please read WP:V regarding your question about sources. Without a source, I have no way to determine if the information is just promotional. Instead of considering it to be possible spam, I've identified it as something that needs a source, specifically a source that indicates that these musicians are important enough to be mentioned. --Ronz 15:29, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

- List of concerts... for 2007... form websites. It's not promotional, i dont even listen to them, but i work on this article from 2005, and i never spamed, never promoted anything... i heard of them, heard from other people, read on visoko.co.ba, and in end visited official website and composed this part of article regarding Music. --HarisM 15:49, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know how to verify that information. Please provide a source. Perhaps you want to look at articles about similar sized cities for examples on how to handle such situations? --Ronz 00:12, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- I could find you text about them, but they are in bosnian. I don't have time now, will leave it for days to come... --HarisM 01:27, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

I've removed the information per WP:V and WP:NPOV. I think four months was plenty of time to provide sources. --Ronz 02:46, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- OK. You know better than me and sources about concerts (official website, visoko co.ba). You are all known. Are you satisfied? —Preceding unsigned comment added by HarisM (talk • contribs) 17:35, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
