Randolph House (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) → Laurel Hill Mansion (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) – It seems unreasonable to me to keep the old name of this mansion as the article title. 333fortheain (talk) 23:30, 10 June 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 01:22, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. The name of the mansion changed in 1976 but a cursory search shows me a number of resources that still prefer to primarily refer to it as Randolph House rather than Laurel Hill Mansion. This Wikipedia article was made in 2010, 34 years after the building's name was changed, and it's now almost 50 years since that change and many seem to still primarily prefer to refer to the building as Randolph House. That this is the first time anyone's questioned the name of this article to me suggests that it probably is the most common name for the building. If there is a solid source suggesting that there is a change in that trend and Laurel Hill Mansion has become the most common name in usage, that would satisfy the WP:COMMONNAME criteria and justify a move. --AVNOJ1989 (talk) 00:35, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- The account[1] on Facebook has labeled its name as such, as well as the Google reviews being under Laurel Hill. Of course, there is more history behind the old name since it has existed for longer, but I believe the article should be named for the recent change since it has become commonplace to refer to it as such. 333fortheain (talk) 01:41, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- Support, but would propose Randolph House (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) → Laurel Hill Mansion (Philadelphia). Websites such as Library of Congress do indeed refer to it as "Laurel Hill", with "Randolph Mansion" given as an alternate name. As for the parenthetical qualifier, "(Philadelphia)" can stand alone, analogous to its appearance in main title headers for entries delineating other historic homes, such as Belfield (Philadelphia), Belmont Mansion (Philadelphia), The Lilacs (Philadelphia), Ohio House (Philadelphia) or Ormiston Mansion (Philadelphia). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 02:57, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: Consensus to meet the proposed title Laurel Hill Mansion (Philadelphia). Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 01:22, 18 June 2024 (UTC)

- Comment. No opinion between Randolph House and Laurel Hill Mansion (both of which appear to be common), but if moved, it should be to simply Laurel Hill Mansion without any unnecessary parenthetical qualifier, which already redirects here anyway. Otherwise it should be shortened to Randolph House (Philadelphia) per WP:CONCISE, as noted in the previous comment. Station1 (talk) 03:17, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
- Support but to just Laurel Hill Mansion. The proposed name matches the official museum website (laurelhillmansion.org), and is the name used by the Philadelphia Parks page, the local paper, and the local PBS station. We should keep the current name as a redirect and the NRHP infobox should maintain the name the property was listed under though. - RevelationDirect (talk) 03:35, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
