Peppy later retires from active flight duty at the end of ''Star Fox: Assault'', and was more or less replaced by [[#Krystal|Krystal]], Fox's love interest. She ended up joining Star Wolf and began a relationship with Panther but that didn't last because Fox ended up coming to Katina looking to get Krystal to rejoin Star Fox. Though at first she didn't want to, she ended up agreeing to rejoin the team and though she was cold to Fox along the way, Slippy managed to convince her that they are meant for each other. Following the defeat of the Angler Emperor on Venom, Fox, Falco, and Slippy finally managed to convince Krystal to permanently rejoin team Star Fox when Fox promised that they would always be together. She rejoined and the team and later the they ended up recruiting Slippy's fiancee Amanda on Aquas. This is the main ending to [[Star Fox Command]] however none of the endings or possibly even the game are currently considered canon.

Various different paths and endings are available in ''[[Star Fox Command]]''; most show Krystal returning to Star Fox and to Fox himself. He also helps Fox during some scenarios of ''Star Fox Command'', where it states that he feels a grudging respect towards Fox.

Wolf also appears as a playable character in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'', alongside Fox and Falco. He fights similarly to them, but is heavier and slower, using extremely quick slashing attacks with his claws instead of utilizing kicks and punches like Fox and Falco. Wolf's other attacks usually consist of fast punches, and even some quick kicks. His final smash from ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'' is a tank, or "Landmaster" and is very similar to the ones Fox and Falco use. The change in his design is due to the fact that he got into more serious criminal manners and therefore has a bounty on his head.

Pigma attempts to control the Aparoids in ''[[Star Fox: Assault]]'', but fails and later undergoes assimilation, which fuses him with a spacecraft. His spirit continues to live on in the form of a cube-shaped puzzle box cyborg after his body is destroyed.

He serves as a boss in ''[[Star Fox Command]]''. Whether the player encounters him depends on decisions made during gameplay.

In the game, he attempts to flirt with Krystal several times, but she either ignores or rejects him depending on the circumstances. Panther appears again in ''Star Fox Command'', where he attempts to begin a relationship with Krystal after she joins the Star Wolf team following her breakup with Fox, but ends shortly after when Fox travels to Katina to look for Krystal and get her to rejoin team Star Fox, which she does and destroys the Angler base with Star Fox. Fortunately, Falco was not killed nor injured in the fight-however, Fox received a very enraged scolding from Peppy Hare later on.

Soon, he discovers Andross, who promises him godlikegod-like power in return for capturing Krystal and the Krazoa Spirits. At the end of the game, Andross betrays Scales and has him relinquish the last Krazoa spirit to Fox possibly killing him. Before he relinquishes the Krazoa Spirit, General Scales tells Fox that he will regret this. It is widely accepted that Scales influence over his SharpClaw army diminished and they finally turned on him, as one of them holds up theGeneral GeneralScale's belt in the game's ending sequence.

It is unknown what his species is, for he seems to be a mixture of a Sharpclaw and a Redeye.

Despite his grandfather's dark ways, he still appreciates his grandfather's forgotten aspirations, and wishes to carry on his legacy of making Lylat a better place. However, Dash's true future remains uncertain. One of the endings shows him joining Falco and Katt to form the Star Falco team, while another two show him becoming ruler of Venom, one of which shows him becoming corrupt with power like Andross and the other has him converting Venom into a peaceful planet.

In one of the endings, her daughter becomes a member of the new Star Fox team, led by Marcus McCloud, who is Fox's son.
