This is a list of all astronauts who have engaged in an EVA by partly or fully leaving a spacecraft, exclusive of extravehicular activity on the lunar surface. It is ordered chronologically by the date of first spacewalk.

As of September 2024, the following 12 countries have flown spacewalkers meeting this criteria: United States of America (151), Russia (formerly Soviet Union) (74), China (17), Japan (5), Canada (4), France (4), Germany (4), Italy (2), Switzerland (1), Sweden (1), Great Britain (1) and United Arab Emirates (1). There have been 22 women who have taken part in an EVA.
