One of six 0-8-4Ts introduced for the GCR by Robinson in 1908 and used for hump-shunting, No. 69901 (LNER Class S1 No. 6171) worked exclusively in Wath Marshalling Yard and lasted until 1/57, when Diesel shunters took over.
