English: Graveslab in Kinkell churchyard south of Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Great Britain. Dedicated to Gilbert de Greenlaw who was killed at the battle of Harlaw in 1411, "Bloody Harlaw" and shows a knight with a hand and a half sword and wearing an open-faced en:bascinet helmet with a mail-reinforced en:arming doublet beneath en:plate armour. Slight crop of original to balance it up. |
