The author, infographic designer, after being provided data from myself, wikimedia user Joao.pimentel.ferreira (talk) 20:43, 27 May 2018 (UTC), explicitly authorised me to upload and publish this infographic under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0.
The data is adapted from the article "Changing course of urban transport", on page 55, which cites as sources "H. Botma and H. Papendrecht, 1991"; Traffic Operation of Bicycle Traffic; In Transportation Research Record 1320 TRB; Washington, D. C.: National Research Council, and based on GTZ calculations (2009). In the corresponding source on said article, the numbers are in passengers per hour on a 3.5 meters wide lane in the city. To convert to S.I. units, that is pax/(s.m), one must divide those numbers by 3.5*60*60, that is, divide by 12600.
