English: Photograph taken at Heliopolis, Egypt, North Africa on 29 August 1915. Members of the 21st Battalion in line waiting to be vaccinated against cholera prior to leaving for Gallipoli. Captain (later Major) Joseph Patrick Fogarty, (later awarded MC and OBE), Regimental Medical Officer (centre) of the Battalion is giving the injection. Medical boxes are being used as a table for their equipment. Joseph Patrick "Joe" Fogarty (1887-1954) also played VFL football with South Melbourne, Essendon, and University for a total of 16 games.
