I SURE HOPE YOU LIKE CATS!!

Hello Doctree, This is crazy, because I joined Wikipedia in 2013, and, for some odd reason, I missed your courteous and friendly message!! So now, I'd like to thank you for it (May 2017). I read your page and you certainly have great creds on board. I would still like to contribute to Wikipedia and be a part of this bright and creative group, if I can. My skillset is somewhat diversified; I was a Professor of Nursing at several Colleges and Universities in Canada (paediatrics, cardiology, mental health, infectious diseases, etc.) My husband and I have a small cat rescue and are also fledgling ornithologists (an area where we'll be learning a great deal from others on Wikipedia). I'm quite familiar with. The Young Offenders' Act laws and the Tenant/Landlord Act of Ontario. I have good skills in Grammar, Composition, Precis and some Editing. Being a Canadian (a Crazy Canuck) qualifies me as an amateur expert on knowledge of my country's customs, mores, quirks, (s)languages, societal make-up etc. Don't know if I can assist in any way but I'm willing to try. Amite! :)

Your draft article, Draft:The Children's Museum (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania)

Hello, Doctree. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "The Children's Museum".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 22:36, 8 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello!

I know you have been semi-active, but I thought I should still stop by your talk page and ask. Are you still interested in helping coordinate WP:WER's efforts? Cheers, JustBerry (talk) 20:40, 5 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

JustBerry. thanks for your consideration. I spend most of my time on activities other than Wikipedia these days. I support the idea of WER but I choose to spend my time elsewhere and won't be active in coordinating WER efforts. DocTree (ʞlɐʇ·ʇuoɔ) WER 20:37, 8 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject X Newsletter • Issue 13

Newsletter • December 2018

This month: A general update.

The current status of the project is as follows:

  • Progress of the project has been generally delayed since September due to development issues (more bitrot than expected, some of the code just being genuinely confusing, etc) and personal injury (I suffered a concussion in October and was out of commission for almost two months as a result).
  • I currently expect to be putting out a proper call for CollaborationKit pilots in January/February, with estimated deployment in February/March if things don't go horribly wrong (they will, though, don't worry). As a part of that, I will properly update the page and send out announcement and reach out to all projects already signed up as pilots for WikiProject X in general, at which point those (still) interested can volunteer specifically to test the CollaborationKit extension.
    • Wikipedia:WikiProject X/Pilots was originally created for the first WikiProject X prototype, and given this is where the project has since gone, it's only logical to continue to use it. While I haven't yet updated the page to properly reflect this:
    • If you want to add your project to this page now, feel free. Just bear in mind that more information what to actually expect will be added later/included in the announcement, because by then I will have a much better idea myself.
  • Until then, you can find me in my corner working on making the CollaborationKit code do what we want and not just what we told it, per the workboard.

Until next time,
