Indian Trading League

The Indian Trading League is India's first and only real world stock and commodity market competition where participants compete to earn maximum returns. It aims to promote competition among market participants and in the process introduce more people into the capital markets.[1] It counts Cricketing Legend Mr. Kapil Dev, London-based Bay Capital Founder Siddharth Mehta among its investors.[2] Launched in the year 2015, it has now entered its second edition.[3] The second edition of the league will conclude on March 31, 2017.[4]

Association with SAMCO

SAMCO Securities is the host and the execution broker of the Indian Trading League.[5]

Formats and Duration

The League runs multiple formats of the competition for multiple duration.

Formats: The League has 6 formats[6]

  1. Trader's League: This league is for participants trading in the Equities and Derivatives segment of Indian stock exchanges namely the National Stock Exchange of India & the Bombay Stock Exchange.
  2. Investor's League: It is for investors and disqualifies all participants who have traded in the Futures and Options Segments[7]
  3. Women's League: It is a special league for all female participants of the Trader's and Investor's Leagues[8]
  4. Commodities League: It is for all the participants trading in the commodity futures segment on the Multi Commodity Exchange
  5. Royale League: It is a league for participants having minimum capital of Rs 5,00,000
  6. Students League: It is a special league for the student participants below the age of 27 years[9]

Duration: The league runs for various duration like Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually.
