Harz RailwayTrans-Harz Railway – Logic:

  1. The current name is not an accurate translation and is confusing, because this is only one of several Harz railways.
  2. "Trans-Harz Railway" is an accurate translation ("trans-" = "across").
  3. It follows the common English convention for naming such railways (e.g. Trans-Siberian Railway, Trans-Andean railways and Trans-Australian Railway)
  4. It is used by many sources including railway specialists (e.g. railwatch and railfaneurope), Harz organisations (e.g. thisisharz) and the English-speaking press (Los Angeles Times).
