Maria Armoudian

Maria Armoudian is a radio host, singer/songwriter/musician, environmental commissioner and scholar-in-training. Her radio program is featured on KPFK, which is a part of the Pacifica Foundation, a non-profit, educational organization 501(c)(3). As commissioner, she currently works on environmental issues for the City of Los Angeles. For eight years, she also developed, wrote and managed legislation and led investigations as senior staff at the California State Legislature. Her journalism has been syndicated by the New York Times Syndicate and the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, and she has written for numerous other outlets. Her first CD is titled Life in the New World.
