Capparis sandwichiana

Capparis sandwichiana is a species of plant in the Capparaceae family. It is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. Its common English name is Native Caper. In Hawaiian, it is called maiapilo[verification needed] or pua pilo.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland and rocky shores. It is threatened by habitat destruction.
