Pokemon Flynon version

Yup, I want it on BJAODN so bad! But just listing the content there isn't allowed, the edit summary must be maintained to make it comply with GFDL. So can you please restore it for a second and move it to Wikipedia:Bad jokes and other deleted nonsense/Pokemon Flynon version? (Then delete the mainspace redirect, of course.) RfA thanks

Hi Singularity. Thank you for your support and kind words in my RfA, which passed with 95 support, 1 oppose, and 1 neutral !votes. It means a lot to me to have your individual support and the collective support of so many others. I truly will strive to carry myself at a level representing the trust bestowed in me as I use the mop to address the never-ending drips of discontent in need of caretaker assistance.

I, The Sunshine Man award you Sr13 this barnstar for your accurate and extremely helpful closes of AfD nominations, you close loads every day — what would we do without you. The Sunshine Man 10:42, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I confess I am very confused... I wrote an article on Online Property Management Software based on web software questions I receive from clients. The article has been deleted. I am more then happy to rewrite it so it conforms to appropriate standards.

Please let me know how I can proceed in doing that. I am new at this - and trying to make sure it gets done well. Thank you.

Question - how does my article get removed when something like this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propertyware which is obviously an advertisement remain?

Sock Puppet

It said they were a sock puppet on their user page. [1]--Bryson 15:16, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

My RfA

Thank you for participating in my RfA. It was successful, and I am now, may God have mercy on us all, an administrator. Look at all the new buttons! I had heard about 'protect,' 'block user,' and 'delete,' but no one told me about 'kill,' 'eject,' and 'purée.' I appreciate the trust the community has in me, and I'll try hard not to delete the main page or block Jimbo. -FisherQueen (Talk) 18:12, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Benoit

Actually, I couldn't care less about writing that article; I just noted my interest in it so that in case Thespian couldn't do it for some reason, I'd cover it; on high-profile issues including deaths and legal issues, I prefer that myself, Michael or another trusted user (yourself included) handles the story. In other words, I did it so some WWE newbie didn't write a horribly POV article :) Ral315 » 01:03, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

My recent RfB

Thank you so much for your participation in my recent RfB. Though it closed with 72% support (below the required 90%), I'm still quite pleased at the outpouring of support shown by a fair percentage of the community.

I'm currently tabulating and calculating all opposing and neutral arguments to help me better address the community's concerns about my abilities as a bureaucrat. If you'd like, you can follow my progress (and/or provide additional suggestions) at User:EVula/admin/RfB notes. Thanks again! EVula // talk // // 04:34, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request

Hi Sr, a while back you kindly deleted Lynotic while performing your janitorial administrative :) duties. I was wondering if you could temporarily undelete Talk:Lynotic and move it to Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Lynotic (and then re-delete Talk:Lynotic). The reason for this request is that the discussion at that page was relevant to the article's deletion and the edit history contained some evidence of possible sockpuppetry. Thanks, Pan Dan 13:40, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Staringdownsun.jpg

Hello. Could you please explain why you decided to keep Image:Staringdownsun.jpg and not delete it? You said "i find the summary sufficient to not delete the image" but I can find no argument anywhere of why we should keep this image. Doesn't it fail example of unacceptable use #8? —Remember the dot (talk) 02:23, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'll delete it, since no one has come up with anything reasonable to keep it in the last month. Thanks for the heads up. Sr13 05:51, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Phroth

The editorial board of Phroth Magazine has concerns about the removal of our article entitled "Phroth" on Wikipedia. The talk page calls into the question the significance of the group. In reality, Phroth is the longest running publication of Pennsylvania State University, among the world's largest, and the magazine is about to celebrate its centennial anniversary. At one time, the magazine was published and distributed to tens of thousands of subscribers across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and therefore we have a large and loyal fanbase that appeals to a wide audience (including alumni). Due to its prolonged establishment and its continuing commitment to satire writing, I urge you to reinstate our article. Please contact me directly at jdb5120 [at] psu (dot) edu

Category Deletion

Thanks for deleting my spelling mistake, however do you know why it is still showing up (along with my correct category spelling) as a subcategory of Category:Privately held companies? Jauerback 17:21, 6 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Never mind. It went away. Jauerback 17:22, 6 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks!

Yep thanks for helping me resolve that weird edit and tagging on the user page (unique vandalism technique i guess), and offering to speaking to that guy (whose userpage user boxes also seem to be copied from mine) =p.

Wikipedia:Changing usernames

Thanks for helping out on the clerking here. Just one thing - I have long been worried about editcountitis creeping in to that process - the generally idea is that any user should be able to request a rename regardless of their edit count. Clearly if they have never edited or only vandalised that's one thing, but the crats have on several occasions rejected any stricter criteria. In particular where usernames are created with typos/wrong capitalisation, the user creation software won't allow a new account (as its name will be too similar to an existing account) making renames the only option for those users. Bear in mind that renaming users with very few edits puts very little load on the servers (think of it like deleting articles creating a load equivalent to the number of revisions) so the sooner renames are done, the better from the server's point of view. Doing these requests is a good way to be friendly to new users and objecting on low edit count grounds can be a little bite-y. It doesn't really take crats any more time to do the requests than to reject them. Anyway, just my thought on the matter... WjBscribe 10:38, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Clerking at WP:CHU

Hi SR13, Your helping out at WP:CHU is most welcome, but I think it would be halpful if you bone up on policy a bit more before engaging the requesters. Perhaps you could run some of your questions past WjBscribe. Thanks, Cecropia 20:37, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps I rushed on those requests; I'll forward any queries when necessary. Sr13 20:54, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Roland Aranjo

I'm no political expert so can you check out Roland Aranjo? It seems to be written by the person himself so I put a {{coi}} on it and notified him about it, but now I'm wondering if this isn't just pure promotional stuff. -WarthogDemon 21:13, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, thanks. :) I was a bit unsure at first so decided to play it safe, but then I checked around, notice all links to his page were ones he made, and started getting suspicious. I should probably look at legit political articles so I know better next time something comes along. Anyways, thanks again! -WarthogDemon 21:30, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
