Cieszyn Silesian dialect

'Tučný text'Cieszyn Silesian dialect (Polish: gwara cieszyńska, Czech: těšínské nářečí, locals using this dialect say they speak "po naszymu" (our way)) is one of the Silesian dialects of the Polish language with strong Czech and German influences and even Vlachs' and Slovak. It is spoken in Cieszyn Silesia, a region on both sides of the Polish-Czech border. It lacks some official codification and remains a spoken language.

On the Czech side of the border (in Zaolzie) it is spoken mainly by the Polish minority. Before World War II dialect was stongly influenced mainly by the German language. After war it was and still is strongly infuenced mainly by the Czech language.
