Hello Baldghoti, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. You can also create your own user page, which is the page that others see when they follow the link in your signature. Your user page is User:Baldghoti. I've noticed that you've been removing a lot of vandalism and other content that is inappropriate for Wikipedia. Sometimes it is easier to revert a page than it is to manually undo the vandalism, especially if large portions of content have been deleted. You might also be interested in Wikipedia's Counter Vandalism Unit. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --TantalumTelluride 21:09, 7 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

I've replied to your question on my talk page. --TantalumTelluride 22:53, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

New main page draft

Hello! I noticed your negative comments regarding the proposed redesign, and I'd like to invite you to review a radically revamped revision, and to post your opinion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Usability/Main Page/Draft#Proposed_version. Thanks! —David Levy 22:00, 15 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dear Baldghoti; Your Edit on my Edit on Spinozism is as follows:

I can't think of any other articles where we "dash-ify" the word "[God]". I am changing all instances of the word to "God" in the interest of consistency. It's not quite a POV issue, but it's close. Rob 19:37, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your comment and giving me a chance to please ask for your re-consideration.

In Judaism it is a custom to put a dash in spelling God to indicate its ineffablity.

Kindly see Dash.

I know I have not put a dash in the spelling of God, but only in G-D. The reason for this is in writing about Spinoza it is necessary to write about his views on G-D.

Kindly see Evolution of the Concept of God.

I hope that you can see the necessity for the dash, both for the Judaic taboo and the evolution.

Thank you. Yesselman 16:06, 22 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

FRFR

Hi Rob, I hope you're well. I added a link to a rebuttal of FFRF's Bible quiz. Please come and check it out. A guy who trolls me has reverted it, but if you think it's worthy and pertinent, then by all means, please revert to my last contribution. --Jason Gastrich 18:26, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Rob. Please note that Gastrich's last "contribution" was to his own site, which is loaded with advertising (some of which allows him to be paid by the "hit") and that plants at least one data miner. WarriorScribe 18:58, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Your userboxes

Because of the current campaign against userboxes, it's pretty likely that many of your boxes are going to get deleted from their template space soon (especially your Flying Spaghetti Monsterism box and your "not interested in being an administrator" box, but in general, any boxes that could be considered to express a point of view someone might disagree with). These templates will very likely be deleted in the next week or two. The best (and really, only) way to protect those userboxes is to perform a "substitute" command on each one of them, which will put the code directly into your page, instead of calling on the template every time your page is loaded. That way, when the template is deleted, it has no effect on the code resident on your page.

In order to do this, go into your user page, and wherever you have a template, insert "subst" inside the brackets. So,

{{template name}} becomes {{subst:template name}}

and your userboxes will all take up residence on your page. Sometimes this makes the formatting funky, and will require some tweaking in the code to restore the layout of your boxes as they were before. If you have any questions about this, please drop me a line. Regards, JDoorjam Talk 23:12, 19 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

template:user fsm

I'm calling out a posse, to fight for freedom of choice, to fight all those who think that only their opinion's right, template:user fsm was speedy deleted by an administrator without any cause or even discussion, I'm therefore putting it up for undeletion since people have put a jihad out against opinions in userboxes. As you were one of many people using the template, I'm trying to rally you into the posse. If you think the template should be returned to active status, put in a vote at Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Userbox_debates#template:user_fsm. Janizary 04:26, 22 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism, 23 May 2006

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Boy Seaman. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Saaber 14:20, 23 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Xzibit

Hi,

you talked with me about Xzibit's theory about alien and ghosts. Yet again I have had to put it back. One may consider that as engaging in revert war, but : I have provided references in the talk page, defended the claim, and put an external link, while it is always removed by nameless users without any explanation.

I honestly don't see why people keep removing it?? It is a fun little piece of trivia that is correct and not offending. Do you have any idea?

Forbidden City

Thank you for trying to clean up all those bad edits. There was one you missed and so I reverted the article to a version before the vandal struck. If you want to know more about reverting, please read WP:REVERT for some help. Thanks again - your work drew my attention to the damage. Shenme 18:10, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
