''I. Act:'' Baron Maolmszegi bought the old castle of grof Illeshazy. When arrived with his dother Lili, meet the grof and though, that is a chamberlain. He accept this play, because of the prety young girl.
''II. Act:'' Illeshazy fall in love with Lili and become to be more like her friend, then her member of staf. But this do not like Fredi, who is Lili's fianc nor Clarisse, the old love of Illeshazy. Clarisse take revenge on Illeshazy and tell to Lili, that is not a chamberlain but the old owner of the castle. Because of that Illeshazy have to leave the castle and Lili decide to mary Fredi.
''III. Act:'' After some mounths is a horse race. The favorit is Tunder a horse of Lili. However, her rider, baron Sanci is late. Fortunatelly arive Illeshazy and win the race. He meet Lili and convice her about his true love.
The best known songs are the "Cigareta keringö" (Cigareta walzer) and the love song "Egy férfi képe" (The face of one man).
